St Andrews

St Andrews: 100km north from Edinburgh, on the east coast.




This part of Scotland (Fife) is known coz it's the first academic area, the universities look like this:

And the cité U looks like this :

What's more, we visited nice ruins of castles and cathedrals:

And most uncannily I ate the best ice cream ever :)) I also tried to suntan, but in fact, with a down jacket, a hat, (and to talk the truth I wouldn't have tuned my nose up at gloves) it didn't work so well. Anyway the weather was not really sunny... indeed it was raining a bit.
